2017 Silicon Valley LIT College Tour Set at SJSU

LIT College Tour, a mentor-driven initiative designed to inspire student leadership, innovation, and transformation, officially announces the 2017 Silicon Valley LIT College Tour is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2017, at San Jose State University, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Featured speakers include Blanca Garza, Emmy award-winning Jouranlist, NBC/Telemundo 48; Tariq Meyers, Head of Inclusion & Diversity, Lyft; Maria Medrano, Director of Transformational Intelligence, CISCO; and Frank Carbajal, Founder, SVLLS-SilionValley Latino Leadership Summit.

“LIT College Tour gives students perspective; a chance to ask the right questions, connect with mentors, start a business and truly see what comes next,” says Mario Cobian, Founder of LIT College Tour and CEO of Cobian Marketing Group.

The power-packed one-day conference will bring together an exciting mix of professionals and entrepreneurs ready to share insights and strategies for bridging the gap between college and the real working world.  Rapid-fire learning, engaging panels, in-depth workshops, networking opportunities and more will create an interactive environment. “Students getting ready to enter into the ‘real world’ have the opportunity to get a glimpse of what it’s like through the various industry experts experiences and stories,” said Daniel Espinoza, President, Latino Business Student Association at San Jose State University.

LIT College is hosted in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, San Diego and Silicon Valley, with plans to expand in 2017.
