Hot off the press… Terrence Yang, Founder & CEO of Precelerator, Yang Ventures, will share his experiences and insights on the Entrepreneur & Startups Panel “Embracing Risk to Grow & Innovate” @litcollegetour Los Angeles on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the JW Marriott LA Live.
Terrence Yang funds and coaches underdog founders, including women and people of color. He is the first investor, adviser and board director of Infobitt, founded by Wikipedia founder Larry Sanger. Since 2013, Terrence has acquired exposure to ~50 startups, 7 via direct investment. Through Yang Ventures and Precelerator, Terrence focuses on Bitcoin, lawtech, fintech, female founders, founders of color and verticals and themes that most startup investors hate or ignore. He was a Wall Street lawyer, transaction manager and business development officer. Terrence has a Bachelor of Science from USC and a JD from Harvard Law. He is an Obama classmate and 2008 AAPI finance co-chair. Terrence is published in Forbes and Inc. He is a member of HBS Angels, a mentor at Plug and Play FinTech accelerator in Silicon Valley.
