Kim Tardy is alliantgroup’s Director of Talent, based in the firm’s international headquarters located in Houston.  A human resources professional known to be a dedicated expert with unparalleled integrity, Kim has consistently hit targets and obtained the best possible talent for alliantgroup.

She has over 25 years of experience in organizational and strategic planning, executive coaching and talent selection for the purpose of building a high performance organization, ensuring optimization of team capability in support of business growth. Kim has held various executive positions for companies such as Momentive Oilfield Technology Group where she was the Global Director of Human Resources, Comcast Corporation as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Houston Region, Level 3 Communications as the Corporate Strategic HR Business Partner, Adelphia Business Solutions and AT&T as the HR Director for the Southeast Division.

Kim possesses senior leadership competencies, an extraordinary breadth and depth of Human Resources and a proven track record of delivering results. She has received numerous awards that attest to her ability to transform workplaces into high performance cultures. She received the Houston Chronicle Top Leadership Award, the 2017 Best Boss in Town Award, Who’s Who in Black Houston Award and the 2010 Next Generation Leader and Luminary Award by NAMIC which honors emerging executives of color for their career successes and commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace.  She has been featured and quoted in numerous articles on personal branding, workplace innovation and attracting and retaining talent.

Kim is extremely passionate about educating our next generation of leaders and preparing them for the workplace. She has participated on many panels and speaking engagements to campuses across the United States helping students market themselves to employers.  She has served on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston, on the Board of Women in Cable Television (WICT), served as Committee Chair for the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and served as President for both Phi Gammu Nu Business Fraternity and Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc.

Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management, both from Troy University.
